Village Consultation Meeting – July 1st – 7:30pm at the Village Hall

If anyone is interested in helping with village events, contact the village consultation group.

Teesside Wildlife Trust will be coming to our village next week with a team of volunteers for 3 days work in the Batts.
They will arrive between 9:30am and 10am, each morning. They will work from 10am till 3pm on Monday (21st), Tuesday(22nd) and Thursday (24th) next week.

They are very encouraging for volunteers and residents to come along and join in for the Monday and Tuesday sessions.

Batts Walkabout with Ian Bond

Ian Bond is HBC’s ecologist. He has worked for HBC for 10 years. Amongst his remit he is responsible for the management of endangered species in the area. He is a renowned lecturer and author.

This April, he took time out of his busy schedule to walk around the Batts nature reserve with the Village Consultation Group.
