Batts Vandalism

There has been a number of incidents at the Batts that have been reported by the public;

The gate into the horse field has been chained and padlocked, not allowing the tennant access.

An unstable style was put onto the boundary of the horse field held together with cable ties, screws sticking out and dangerous pointed stakes.

Branches and ivy have been cut.

DPPC have instructed that such items be removed immediately, on health and safety grounds. Currently the only authorised works to be carried out in the Batts is HBC cutting the footpath.

If anyone has seen or sees any further damage can they please report to Sophie Chapman DPPC clerk. If possible please submit photo/video of the incident.

Allotments welcome New Tennant

We welcome Dave, Terressa and family to the allotments. Dave is an allotment veteran, working with his Dad and other family members on their allotments since a young age. Currently he has a small vegatable plot in his garden and wishes to expand his produce. Dave and Terressa are well known for their beautiful garden and are always willing volunteers, helping out with kids activities and tidying up at village events! We all look forward to seeing the allotments being enhanced.
